索尼的EVIL相机所采用的拍摄控制方法和消费级数码相机一样–用触摸屏来完成，并且仅支持JPEG和RAW两种方式，并且相机还内置一个教学模式，让用户无需了解光圈数量等参数轻松就能拍摄出其它单反相机才能拍出的效果，由此单反入门变得非常简单。EVIL的发布时间依然未知。
